We are aware of marketing and digital marketing but are we really aware of two strategies i.e. Push Marketing and Pull Marketing Strategy Technique. There is a fundamental difference between the two techniques and that is by using this technique how the consumer is approached by the firm.

With Push Marketing, the notion of promotion is to push your product on to the consumer, as the consumer is not actively seeking your product but you have to use your own technique, wherein Pulls Marketing is associated with consumers who are actively seeking your product, in response to direct demand.

Push Marketing What is it? Push marketing defines a promotional strategy in which businesses actually take an initiative to take their products to the customers — consumers are not actively seeking the product or service, but they are introduced to it through promotions such as billboards, TV advertising and cold-calling in Traditional Marketing well talking about

Pull Marketing Talking about Pull marketing, it relies on much the opposite, in that consumers will actively seek out the particular brand or its products or services because they are already aware of its reputation. Therefore, initial Push Marketing must be implemented to begin the establishment of your brand recognition. The use of Pull marketing strategy, will begin to drive consumers towards a brand, and the use of re-marketing will consolidate consumers by reminding their interest through adverts placed on other sites the audience visit, and so pull them closer to a final conversion to purchase our product or service.

Many companies would love to rely solely upon only one strategy which is a pulling marketing strategy, wherein customers come directly to them, and intent upon to purchase, but obviously it takes time and effort to establish such qualities in a brand.

Both Push, and Pull marketing strategies have their benefits, but a successful marketing campaign one will certainly adopt the best of both worlds.
